Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on television. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December, 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas to pursue the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. There she played various roles ranging from local independent films to world-wide commercials. Even though she had small parts, De La Garza quickly realized her passion for performing. After 2001, she relocated to New York where her first role was on All My Children's daytime soap-opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was on the short-lived 2004 television drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as a variety of the best TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. In the following seasons, she was a part of The Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. De La Garza was nominated for several Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. She won an Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments later. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Most recent TV appearance was on Doctor. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly more dark-hearted drama Do No Harm. The show was later cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is Italian with a 10-year-old younger brother called Cory. Milano was raised in a conservative, religious family. Milano started her acting professional career when she was just seven years old. Her babysitter accompanied her to a stage audition. Her audition was among over 1000 applicants. She was selected as one of only four girls. Milano appeared in advertisements on television and off-Broadway, including the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
